Thru transom headers ???
« on: February 21, 2010, 07:52:06 PM »
Talk to me about BBC thru transom headers, I have a unique opportunity to pick up a set of thru transom headers on a bad debt, how difficult would these be to sell for, oh say $350, or trade for some nice chrome twisties (small primaries for a BBC)?

I will never collect a dime from this guy and can take these headers and some other misc. "junk" for the debt, he owes me a little over $700 and simply does not have it...

The problem is I don't need them and they need to be re coated, they're just dingy looking ceramic, not chrome..

Any answers would be helpful, I just don't want to be stuck with more crap I can't use and don't have room for...

Thanks in advanced SCJB members

I agree with Ralph, I just sold a cherry set for $400. If it's any help, I'll give you $175 for them, I'm looking for a pair to have coated.

I want a set, but they wouldnt fit under my engine cover (box)

i want to someday convert the engine cover so it goes the width of the boat. the jump seats on either side of the engine cover are useless unless you have a 12" wide ass.

I kinda liked 'em on the Beisemeyer, but then, that's where the kids usually unded up, not full grown people.  Regardless of that, the headers have to be of the fully water jacketed variety under cover like that according to "code" no? ( I KNOW we are ALL following regulations right??????? >:D )

Congratulations on getting the Southwind going again Brad!
