So during the Avi trip this past weekend my alternator took a dump! It was a 1 wire 42amp Marine alternator.. Im runnin a bbc and only 1 battery... Was wonderin who in the area may have one in stock? Any shops or peeps on here or connects to get one. Im located in west covina...

There's a guy who is always at the LB swap meet that sells alts and starters and he has some pretty good prices. we have bought a couple from him and havent had a problem yet. The company is Quality Power and there in Duarte #626-358-0763 give them a call

theres plenty of shops that rebuild alternators i just had mine rebuilt for 90$ from a shop called riverside alternator ad starter but im sure theres more people out your way.

Thanks for the help n advice guys i went ahead n followed that ebay link n looked up some others as well n found a local shop in south el monte that has a wharehouse of alternators n starters went down talked to the guy had one there for me $55 with the exchange of my core... Gunna slap it on tomorrow n hopefully solved my issue!

Foothills blvd and Vincent ave in Azusa, I for got the name of the buisness but they build custom alternators right around $100 one yr warranty send me a pm if you need more info.
