Just brought home a new POS, the custom bow rail is missing, anyone out there build them?
It will be on a '91 Carrera 20.5 Elite ;D

I am sure JBP can help you source this. If not, L+L marine has a good selection.

I was at Fiberglass Unlimited in Clovis (Fresno) a while back and they had several sitting up in their rafters--I think rails that they have removed from Sanger mini cruisers that they have redone. I had never had one before and was considering taking it off. When I asked Manny about it, he suggested I leave it on, and I'm glad I did--it does come in handy. I got the impression that they were just extras hanging up out of the way, so you might be able to get one and modify it cheaper than building new.
Manny and Vito, owners, got started laying up boats at Sanger in the 60s, are great guys, and do good fiberglass work. Might be worth it to give them a call, they would probably know if what they have would work for your carrera--Fiberglass Unlimited, (559) 299-8826. Might also have a suggestion on where to have one fabricated.

Thanks SP, I really needed to hear that, seeing dollar signs all over again and I'm really cheap/broke. BTW we used to have a Fiberglass Unlimited here in San Jose, was owned by Jerry Kuata(sp) and he had a very talented guy named Manny running the shop, related?
Can the world really be that small?
I will give him a call over the next couple of days, Thank you very much!

I have a bow rail from a 1988 commander 19' mini day cruiser I will give you!

Hate very much to look a gift horse in the mouth, but do you have a picture of it to see if it will work? Can't tell you how much I appreciate it, trying to do this one right, but on the cheap ;D
I was trying to sell a toy hauler trailer (smaller one) to help finance this bad boy but the economy says "Bush must go home!".

I might have a pic of my boat with it on, let me check!
