Had a set of headers I thought were coming my way from GT Jets ,After a month of Texting and then no more responses on his side  looks as if I need to re-post for a set of Twisties or upswepts 454 BBC Jet 2 1/4 pipe size.

I don't think I want to let this thread die like this, so feel I have to comment.

You wavered back and forth for a bit on the headers. I was trying to save you some coin on shipping (and of course the work on my end to box them up) and really did think I was going to make the Long Beach races. Even had a room reserved. Plans changed, I let you know as soon as I could. I was on an emergency service call that took three weeks out of my life. Actually putting the rest of my summer plans in the trash. Huge wildfire took out numerous communications sites we are responsible for. Sorry this put a hamper on your buying used boat parts.

I never let the communication lapse more than three days, my phones did not work in the mountains (towers were down anyway). I know you think I got rich off these headers, I assure you, you got a screaming deal, $300 for a nice clean absolutely rust free set of Rewarder Twisties with water lines and set up for evacs is ridiculously cheap.

Once you sent the funds, the headers were boxed up and shipped within 72 hours, even had to trouble my pop to get them to the UPS store.

I am glad they got to you unharmed, but didn't want the impression left that I just left you hanging, one of the conversations you had with me stated you didn't even have the engine built yet. I honestly didn't think there was an all fired hurry, just trying to save you the hundred bucks. Thought I was doing you a favor. my bad.

If you had any idea how much I have had come up in the last month, you may feel differently about thinking I'm a huge flake.

By the end of the year I will have put a roof on my house, including flashings and gutters, not to mention insulating the entire attic with r24 fiberglass, resheeting 50%, shimming and truing all the rafters and ridge beams, permit and all, repiped the entire house in copper, new subfloor up to new tile in the kitchen, another 800 square feet of tile in the rest of the house, dealt with a wildfire with HVAC concerns for telecommunications towers, had a kid graduate from college, working 60 hour weeks, dealing with osteoarthritis everywhere.... To say this was a nutty summer is an understatement..

Also made it to one SCJB event and went to Idaho to the boat races, that was my vacation....

So I guess what I'm trying to say, I think I did you pretty well. From now on, I won't ship anything, it takes too much time, of which I have none of. Thank you for buying my headers, if you decide you don't want them because of the way the factory built them, let me know. I'll buy them back.

I just couldn't let the thread die with saying "no response" because I did the very best that I could.

Good luck with the build, can't wait to see it, hopefully we can have a couple beers together and forget all about it.

Tell James I said howdy.

The thread is now dead.... He no longer needs headers.  8)
