it is a std nozzle, i'll sell the diverter for $300.00 without the handle or sell the handle for $125.00 without the diverter

Out of curiosity, I wonder if that Hondo handle you have can be machined to be a diverter handle.
Now that would be bad ass!
-
i don't think it can be machined??? but it looks to be the same diameter, could be cut welded and polished to look like it was made that way,
-
how much were u selling it for? 100?

is the diverter capable of shooting up a roost? I have a diverter right now but it cant shoot roosts.

Check your adjustments. Is it getting full up position? Does it have a wedge in the down position?
-
there is no wedge and all the adjustments seem fine. When its all the way up it doesnt shoot up a roost at all. It is being stopped by the pump itself. as seen in this pic. the first pic is all the way down the second is all the way up. As you can see all the way up is stopped by the pump on the top.

Time to get out the grinder! ;D

You might also need to grind back a lil on the tiller arm......
-
You know I had asked about the grinding once before on a thread here ??? Didnt sound like a good idea to do so ??? ??? So what up, and NO 2sav its not cause the dizzy is in the RIGHT place ;D ;D ;D

When i got my Bahner either it had a tiller arm , or it is the one Skip picked up for me that was ground back a bit........
I noticed that the nozzle went way up and if it ever would have got wet, it would of thrown some killer roost ;D
thats all im saying :sly:
2savs law.....DIZZY IN BACK >:D
-
Could you take a picture from the same angle you took the down shot? It doesn't look
to me like the grinder is going to get you much more travel till the arm hits.
How much up angle does it have now? That's why I'd like to see the other picture.
How much HP do you need for a goood roost? What are you running? CHEVY :sly:

Kinda weird. I don't know much about diverters, so I checked the hydraulic unit on the Biesenmeyer just now, goes up a little further than yours, until the forward reverse bucket handle hits the tiller arm. Your' looks to be a good 1/2 inch from the tiller arm.
Somethings wrong, adjustments?? hellifiknow.

Time to get the grinder, a can of white spray paint and a 30 pack of beer and do some re-engineering! ;D
-
thats kinda what i figured. i just dont wanna ruin it or weaken the strength/performance of it but if you guys have done it so can i. i will have to grind the sides all the way around.
-
just remember to go slow and take just a litle at a time and then check it. easy to take it off, a little harder to put some back!
-
I spent an hour yesturday adjusting the cable, heim (sp) joints and found the cable inside the handle slipped out of the clamp. I guess when they installed the new cable they left out the bottom of the clamp and used washers cause now the screws were too long :banghead:
All fixed and adjusted with alot more nozzle adjustment up and down....
I would try the adjustments before grinding ???
-
hmmm my place diverter has the same issue but my lazy ass needs to order a 43c cable clamp....double check that...my issue seems to be right at the handle too

-
i took your guys' advise and pulled out the grinder. got a few more degrees out of it but maxed out on the tiller arm. thanks......sorry for jacking the thread
