I hate to kill your thread but this is a huge liability having someone put them back in a boat. They WILL fail at some point, I found this out twice.

Look man sounds to me that u have no interest in buying the fuel tanks, and that's fine. But don't come on my listing flapping ur gums about your gas tanks failing. Your gas tanks are not mine and mine are not yours. I'm selling these tanks for a cheap price to possibly help someone out and get there boat on the water without spending an arm and a leg. So I guess u could say selling a used engine could be a huge liability too right? It could blow up the day u fire it up or it could run flawlessly for 20 years, u just never know.

Once you pull a fiber tank out... toss it. This will ensure your doing the right thing for everyone's sake.

Fiberglass tanks are outlawed and have not been made for decades.

All that being said, they are definitely not worth $200.

Do yourself a solid and cut them up and toss therm.
