Title: Trade Glenwood BBC snails
Post by: foxfury on January 17, 2011, 08:34:20 PM
I am in need of trading my Glenwood snails with a down angle port.  I need the same with straight ports.  Anyone?

Straight snails for logs are really rare......They did make them though, look for logs for an inboard.

Why do you need straights? Is there a way you can just use angled tips?....They're quieter that way because they go deeper in the water...

Just askin'

Oh, and welcome aboard!

I have a 80 miller.  the transom tips sit mid transom, with the down angle snails it kinks my exhaust tubing.  I really don't want my exhaust to sit below the water line and REALLY don't want to cut new holes and patch the old.  Thanks for the welcome!

If you don't find some snails, let me know, I may have a solution using some copper fittings or a custom cut piece of copper tube.. It depends on the angle of your existing snails.

Got a picture of that badboy? :sly:
