Speaking of Berkeley Droops, I've read a article bassicaly saying that cutting the divider out of the Berkeley Droop shows absolutley no advantages.

You forgot to add $21 for double drilled and $100 for the Berkeley name carved into it. :o  I wonder why jetboat performance charges more for the mini than the regular droop snoot?  Has anyone on the boards tried the mini with an 18' boat yet?  Wounder if it would make much of a difference?

Well Place Diverter makes the mini droop and they think very highly of there stuff. I know alot of guys that will only run the mini droop after having both. I don't know exactly why but they seem to like it alot better.

In all my readings , the berk droop is the one to run . I thought about the mini but...... I dont know . Jerry check out all the crap in my garage sale thread and I'll trade , if not let me know andwe can get into some details.

Hey Omar
I didn’t see anything that really caught my eye in the garage sale.  However, I will call Jeremie this week and see if we need anything for the V-drive.  Do you have any other parts that you want to trade?  Parts that would catch my eye would be a BBC polished Victor Jr for oval heads or a Berkeley impeller A/B cut in very good condition.

I have no idea what I'm talking about, hell I'm still drunk for that matter   8)  but I've been thinking about that mini droop... it's not down as low as the regular droop = less drag, it points that outlet up = less resistance getting rid of the water than a regular droop or no droop at all.   O0

I would be more than happy to temporarily trade my (long) Berkeley droop for a mini droop.

And they claim the mini droop has some sort of flow chamber and it does not bend the water as much which equals more thrust.......HAHA.....Thrust

I talked to Jeremie and the only thing that we need for the V-Drive at this point is a flame/spark arrestor.
