its an alpha one with no prop came off a bluewater? boat the previous owner told me it was mated up to a 350...
heres my craigslist link with pics....I'm assuming the price is high but any input would be appreciated

I don't think $700 is bad with only 67 hours on it

ya the hours are really low...the guy i got it from said the boat was 18yrs old and the boat was a p.o.s. so they pulled the motor and drive and were gonna sell em but lost interest...so i got em  ;D i would call b.s. on the hour meter normally but the stuff looks like it has low hours...the motor was spotless and even the drive is still black and not all faded

but ya...anybody need an outdrive? or have a rebuilt jc pump? impellers?  :)

$700 is stupid cheap for that drive, however, someone has broken the living crap out of the upper spanner nut and will have a hell of a time getting it apart...

This drive has  (or should) a 1.50:1 ratio, good stuff...

edit; by the way, I have a new spanner nut here at the house and if you could get it apart may increase the overall value of the drive unit...

Do you have the rest of the system?

sold it! $600 for alpha one AND the matching 350 merc with all the marine stuff on it

sold wayyyy to cheap especially when a guy offered me 500 for just the drive right after my dad told me he sold it  :(

oh well...what are you gonna do against the guy that gives you free boat storage, free boat labor and a free place to stay at the river?
