Looking for a new place
« on: March 19, 2008, 06:43:16 PM »
The lease here at the apartment is up in May. We have an option to renew for another hundred bucks a month for 12 months.

We are already into the $2k/month bracket and I know housing costs are coming down which means house rental prices are coming down too. Its not the best time to buy and I think its smart to continue to wait it out.

So I am looking at my options. If anyone knows of a good deal, let me know. I would like to stay in the orange county area. Lookin for at least 2 bedroom place...3 bedroom is ideal. A garage is manditory. Also, they must accept cats. Budget is no more then $2k/month.

I looked around on craigslist and westside rentals and found a few places, but nothing caught my eye.

The ideal place in mind would have a large detached garage in the backyard with a long driveway to the street.

OC is a big area, you want to stay South County? What about Fullerton/Brea area? I had a kickass house in Fullerton, 3 bd, 2 ba, HUGE yard, 2 car detached, pets ok, I paid 1400 a month, when I moved out they raised the rent to 1450
