We did Holcomb back in the day with the truck club,  4 BYs 2 Hi  ,   Toyota club. But I had a 77 Chev. with 38.5 Fun Countrys.  Good memories of those days for sure.

Any of you bilge rats going to Ridgecrest for the GP in Oct.?    I will be there bike or no bike but I am trying like hell to get Mr. Tripes to pull his head out of his fundillo and get my bike back to me.   They are running the course backwards from last year and boy does it look fun.

I usually throw a pretty big deal for the ridgecrest GP. i live like 2 blocks away from the start line. haha. and i take my motorhome there anyway so we have somewhere to hang out.

i will be running the first open on sat to see the track. then the RC local race that takes place during sundays open and then the 2 hour desert scramble later in the day on sunday.

you should come hang out wit us. you can hang at the motorhome and prep your bike or do whatever. i usually get the best spot cause i am there a day early. lol.

I also already sent in my application for the catalina GP that is coming back in dec. its the first one in like 50 years.

anyway i will see you next weekend for the GP

Tony I think I will be definatly taking you up on that offer.  It sounds like a great way to spend the day.

And I don't want to rain on your parade about Catalina, but remember that your entry has to be SELECTED to get to ride.   Most people won't get selected.  >:(

The Dist. 37  website has a partial list of all the "stars" from back in the day who will be there.  It will be epic even if I don't get to race.

The Worst Businessman In The World  aka  Marty Tripes told me last night that he should have my bike back to me tomorrow or Thursday.  Thanks Marty, now I can finish putting it back together and take transport it 2 hours to race a 250 that is now a 400 that I have never ridden and probably isn't jetted right.  I'm so sorry that it took you 2.5 weeks to set the timing.  I'm soo sorry that you didn't do it 4 weeks ago like you were supposted to, before you sold me the motor.   :banghead:       :screwy:
