Title: IS ANYONE RUNNING 4" WIDE USA WHEELS OR CENTERLINES?
Post by: Shocker_04 on December 23, 2017, 09:23:47 AM
I bought some wheels from Kartek last week, they sold me the bolt in 7/16 valve stems. Problem is on such a narrow rim, the valve stem hole is slightly on the curve of the bead so these stems leak very slowly. Is anyone else running this narrow of a wheel and if so, did installing a rubber stem work for you or did you have to run tubes?? TIA

And on another note, I cant get one of the tires to seat.......not even close. The sidewalls are collapsed from being stacked (brand new tire). Ive taken it to 3 tire shops and they said they cant do it so......if anyone knows a good tire shop up for the challenge, please let me know.

Use a ratchet strap in the center of the tire , squeeze it , pull the core valve out of the valve stem and have air going in then hit it with the cheetah , pop bead seated

Tried all of those trucks, even used 2 cheetahs. Finally a tube was the trick. Inflated it enough the get the beads to touch the rim, then inflated like normal, left the tube in for now. Gonna wait a couple days and break just the too brad and pull the tube out. Thanks for the help though 👍🍻
