I'm looking to go riding Sunday but don't want to take my toy hauler and I don't have a regular truck to load my bike into.
Anyone going out this weekend that can pick me up?

I know it doesn't help you right now but can you get yourself one of those trailer hitch dirtbike carriers.

a buddy of mine used to have a harbor freight folding trailer for his single dirtbike. he would fold it up to fit under his carport since he didnt have anywhere to store it.

I'd like to get one. I just haven't had one land in my lap when I have the cash, and when I have the cash I haven't gone looking for one.

Hey Keith, I went and bought the metal and welded one together for half the cost.
I have a tannau cover so I'm kinda in the same boat

D37 GP in Ridgecrest the first weekend of next month Keith. You ready to take the training wheels off that four smoker yet? I should have room for one more. It sure is pretty, but we can change that by the end of the first lap. Then a trip thru the water crossing and you'll be all clean again for the next lap. Rinse lather repeat baby ! >:D

The Ridgecrest Grand Prix is my Xmas. My favorite weekend of the year. My house is only a few blocks from the starting line so we should all meet up and party in my back yard after the races. I will probably be taking a toy hauler to the pits as well so everyone has somewhere to hang out during the day and to stage gear at.
if you have a bike or like to party you should plan on spending the weekend in ridgecrest that weekend. IT IS A BLAST... I will most likly be racing twice a day. and hopefully be racing my vintage bultaco if it is back together. But i have a few dune buggies and a bunch of off road toys here we can all play with. maybe a trail ride with some beginners after the day of racing and before the cocktails start..
anyway lets try to plan something. Maybe we should start another post to organize the effort.

First weekend of next month.

I just spent a couple hours chasing a softball around a field and a few minutes running around in circles after pelting the ball with a bat... and I am done. My legs hurt, my ankle hurts, my shoulders hurt... I don't think my old ass needs to be out there trying to get run over by a group of old racers that would be more than happy to mow my ass down.
But, I might be interested in coming out, watching some races and having a general good time.
Might have to find a place in the desert to park my toy hauler, so an old guy can rest. ;)
