Aftermarket carb???
« on: October 16, 2011, 03:20:33 PM »
Has anyone used one of these (Chinese??) carburetors?

I need to replace the carb on my daughters Honda TRX90 quad and didn't really want to spend $$$ for an original Honda replacement.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-Carburetor-TRX90-TRX-90-Fourtrax-Atv-Carb-NEW-/390154375686?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item5ad7035206

P.S.  I'm thinking about selling this one if anyone is in need of a small quad.

It's a stock 2005 Honda TRX90.
I haven't looked around at what they are going for lately, but I was going to try for $1000 and see what I can get.

I bought some 25 dollar off brand carb for my 185 Honda ATC off ebay and was WAY impressed. Threw it in there and it ran great and idled right out of the box. I was so impressed I bought one for my 200x and the same exact thing. I dont know what brand but that Wincycles looks familiar.

Whys it need a new Carb Kieth? Open that bitch up and clean it. I'm not sure what Carb comes on the 90 but haven't had a bike Carb yet that wasn't savable. I personally can't stand the China carbs we had a few 50's with em in the group and always problems.

I've been through the carb a couple times... I'm sure one of the previous owners has bottomed the mixture screw to tight and damaged the seat.

Maybe soon, feeling like crap the last couple days and don't really want to go move the trailer, get the quad out just to put it away a few minutes later.    :banghead:
