Title: Who's going to Glamis on president day?

I'm trying to make up my mind on were to go? 1)Glamis  2) to the river with Warlock 3) still home 4) Go to the hard pack :banghead: :banghead: :mad:

WE HAVE A BIG GROUP GOING OUT, MOST ARE GETTING THERE THURSDAY. ILL BE UP AFTER WORK FRIDAY AND COMING HOME MONDAY.

Im trying to make it out there :banghead: I supposed to get my tax return on friday the 13th so if that goes through then I am good to go!

I dont think they will be closed. Last time I was there I was checking out their work in progress and it looks as if they will be leaving an opening about 20 yards wide at each wash. Who knows if I am right or not be thats what I am hopeing :-[

Just looked up the weather for glamis on Pres weekend and is says it will rain Sat, Sun, Mon and some wind as well >:( That sucks ass

All the guys im going with will be there thursday so im just going with their plan. I think just right off the road. But i don't know that rain might make me change my mind about going.

GREAT ALL WEEKEND ACTUALLY A LIL WARM SATURDAY AND SUNDAY WAS KINDA OVERCAST LIKE THE BEACH WEIRD. IT WAS A GOOD TIME OVER ALL OTHER THEN THE FRIEND OF A FRIEND WHO BROKE HIS BACK. THE FOUR FRIENDS WHO ENDED UP IN THE LINE OF FIRE AND A CHICK ON A QUAD THAT HIT MY FRIEND IN HIS RHINO. I'LL POST SOME PICS TOMMOROW.

YA THE GUY THAT BROKE HIS BACK AND A FRIEND OF A FRIEND THAT WAS CAMPING WITH US. HE HAD TO LEAVE SUNDAY SO WE JUST WENT ON SHORT TRIP SO HE COULD GET BACK IN TIME. WHEN IT WAS TIME FOR HIM TO LEAVE WE ALL STAYED THERE AND HE TOOK OFF. ABOUT FIVE MINUTES LATER ABOUT A HUNDRED YARDS AWAY WE SEE THIS SILVER RHINO JUMP OFF A MEDIUM SIZE DUNE AND LAUNCH 25 FOOT OR MORE. BY THE WAY NOTHING ABOUT THIS PARTICULAR DUNE SAID JUMP ME. SO HE LAUNCHES IT HITS THE FRONT END BOUNCES COMPLETELY CLEARS THE CAGE AND HITS THE TAILGATE WHERE IT THEN FLIPS AND LANDS ON IT'S SIDE. WE SEE THEM GET OUT AND LAY DOWN. SO 10 OR SO GUYS HAUL ASS DOWN THERE. AND THEY SAY THEY ARE FINE JUST SORE AND HE INSIST ON DRIVING BACK TO CAMP SO THEY HEAD BACK AND A COUPLE BUGGIES FOLLOW HIM. WE GET A TEXT AT 3:30 THE NEXT MORNING THAT HE WAS IN THE HOSPITAL AND BROKE HIS BACK DOWN CLOSER TO THE BOTTOM AND NOT THE NECK. NOT DRUNK AND HAS HAD PLENTY OF EXPERIANCE.


THEN AROUND 11 O'CLOCK AT NIGHT SUNDAY WE WERE HANGING OUT IN WASH 6 WITH SOME FRIENDS AND DECIDE TO HEAD TO BASE CAMP WHICH IS IN WASH 18. SO WE ARE IN 3 RHINOS HEADING THROUGH THE DUNES. 2 UP FRONT AND ME IN THE BACK IN MY BUDDIES WELL THEY STARTED GOING THROUGH DUNES THAT WE WERE NOT COMFORTABLE WITH ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT SO WE TURN AROUND. AND THE 2 RHINO FINALLY REALIZED THAT WE WERE NOT WITH THEM. SO THEY STOP TO CALL US AND SEE SOME LIGHT IN THE NOT TO FAR DISTANCE. THEY CALL OUT OUR NAMES AND ASK IS THAT YOU, WELL RIGHT AFTER THAT THEY HEAR GUN SHOTS POPPIN OFF. SO THEY HIDE BEHIND THE RHINOS FOR A SEC OUT OF REACTION AND THEN HAUL ASS BACK TO CAMP.

NO THEY JUST SAW A LIGHT POINT TOWARDS THEM AND SHOTS POPPIN OFF. DIDN'T SEE ANY FLASHES FROM THE GUNS OR HEAR ANY BULLETS WHIZ'N BY. I DON'T THINK THEY WERE READY TO STICK AROUND AND SEE WHO IS WAS.
