I was kind of lucky to find this boat available when I was looking. For those that don't know the story, I located this boat in Visalia Ca on Ebay. It was at an automotive consignment lot and the guy really didn't want to ship it to Florida to the guy that was bidding on it. I drove up to check it out in person and we made a deal. Since then we've overhauled the original engine & pump, replaced the upholstery, fuel tanks, wiring & gauges. Was it a good deal? Probably not, but it's unique and I like having something that is a little different.
I was also lucky enough to find SCJB early in it's existence and have been able to meet some awesome people that have become great friends.
