This has been a few days in the making, but I am excited to announce there is a $10,000 purse at stake for the SCJB Top 10 List!
Jake Yeager was approached by a large company that wants to see this top 10 list take off. Unfortunately, due to obvious liability issues, they need to remain anonymous. We are extremely grateful for their $10,000 donation towards a purse for the Top 3 contestants. We are hoping this helps promote enough exposure to get this picked up by Pilgrim Studios which is the production company for Street Outlaws, Ultimate Fighter, Fast 'n Loud, etc.
This being said, this will be changing a major rule in the top 10 list. You MUST attend all SCJB events for the year and you MUST bring the boat you intend on using to compete in the top 10 list.
Please direct any questions or comments to myself. Please be patient as details are still evolving.

so now this wont really be a fastest top 10. But a "quick" top 10 with the boats that can make it to every event?
How will that work with the standings? Say the top 6 cant make every event?

Bring it!! My new 598 with a 400 shot should be ready in a couple of weeks. 8) Won't even need to test or change anything, just drop it in and go.

Ok, we got the Southwind engine pulled and we just finished pulling the Spectra engine out to do the swap. I wonder how the 1/4 stringer Southwind will hold up with 1,000 HP or maybe 1,200 HP with race gas and a change of pulleys. Spectra sure looks lonely without the blower engine in there.
