. No sir. I changed the bottom. I also put a different pump, loader and shoe.  You know the motor part well ran the jets you gave me and the plugs look perfect.

I guess we need to revamp this deal to get more buy in.  What if we put a few simple rules in. The owner and boat must make it to to SoCal events. Must be capable of making the 5 mile one way trip we take. This should give the SoCal members a good shot at the top ten. Let's here your thoughts.

Had the nitrous come it a lot sooner. Hell it's a race boat. It only holds 2.5 gallons of gas, I can make it goose I think

. I would say no hallett's race with us now. Wingers, tunnel dragsters and a sprint. That's been the just of it so far. It would be good to see more guy's give it a go. We need to get a gate keeper so the bar will be set.

Well as soon as I figure out my pump and get one put together, will see what a 1000hp Hallett can do. I am shooting for low to mid 90's. My Hallett is 800 pounds dry then another 600 pound's in motor so I don't think it's far fetched. Not with just about 1050hp on the bottle.

sounds good get it put together and on the water.  What's wrong with your pump?

I'm not sure about settling a pump back on the hallett's. All hulls like different set ups.

Nothing except it's a jc with hardened shaft and impeller but I don't have a place diverter on it yet I need to set the pump back more it's only set back like 3 inches. Just feel like I need to do more to it to handle all the power and to process that much water    ..

You don't really want it set back more than an inch to inch and a half from the transom at the back surface of the shoe.  If you want the hand hole cover outside of the transom or want a pop-off valve, just far enough is what you want.

Even if the transom isn't cut through all the way, it will still work good.  Those hulls handle big power well.

Can't wait to see it.
