I'm really curious to find out where I stand so save enough for me you 2

What part of the lake will we be running?

Do you range a buoy for the distance?

The best part of water on the lake is the far side where you enter the cove. I'm gonna bring buoys that we can drop to measure start and finish. I would love to run in the high speed zone but... The water there is kinda crappy and stuff comes up unexpectedly. I'll be sure to bring 2 bottle just incase.

I completely agree on the water. That's where I made my runs there in the past. I've run a couple of times down the middle, but like you stated those wakes jump out at you quick and you can't see them when you start.

Yes sir! We should be good. I make my passes there as well. If everyone can get there by 8 and be on the water by 8:30 we should be able to run a bunch. I think there should be no more than 4 boats out at once, also am thinking we should have flagged starts to cut down on excuses and make it fair. Upside of running on the back side is there will be spectator viewing from shore line. 👍👍

Flag or a nod, either way. I figured a nod from one means when the head drops, both hit the gas & go.

If it's close then go again and the other gets to nod

I was just going to ask about the shore line viewing. My wife was thinking about dropping a chair by the water and reading a book, but figured she would be bored and more nervous if she could hear us and not see what's happening. Maybe she'll want to come out now.

Ive done it all year, I have no excuses. We can do it up real rr style. Less work for me to figure out.

. Setup buoys in a 45 mph zone not the smartest move I've witnessed but whatever the group decides. I may not have enough 116 for another nos pass but I will race on the motor as much as needed.
