Stealing mirrors in Ontario

I just want to let people know that live around the Ontario,ca area or inland empire. That my 2005 Chevy Tahoe had the mirror just the glass stolen off of it in broad day light. I have the tow mirrors on it and my next door neighbor has them to and he is Ontario PD. My wife called the cops after we noticed it and they came out and told us it has been happening around here and the 3rd row seats have been getting stolen.  I just wanted to let you guys know. If anyone has a guy who can get me new glass they had the turn signals built in and they didn't cut the wires.

There is a guy in Hesperia that deals only in late model Chevy suv/truck parts and has basically his own pick a part on his property. How number is (760) 995-5508 and Robert is his name. My father in law gets stuff cheap from him all the time.

I'd personally search craigslist or call Indiana truck and salvage in corona.

Just wanted to share some info. This is a new thread we are seeing right now. Thieves are stealing the glass mirrors off of chevy's, gmc's, and Cadillac escalades. Last week alone the city of cypress (city next to where I work) had 30 cases just in one night and we have had to take some reports on it as well.

Yeah it's not Ontario and Cypress, it's been happening for awhile in Brea. Started with the third row seats then the mirrors started. They prefer the tow mirrors because they are easy to get off in one piece.

Yes the third row seats have been getting taking for a couple years now. Just was giving info that we are now seeing the mirrors being taken off in the areas where I work. I know it's happening everywhere as well, just was giving a heads up to people that weren't familiar with what's going on out there. You can thank prop 47

Good old prop 47. Saving tax payer dollars by not sending as many people to jail, instead the tax payers are left spending even more money replacing the shit that gets stolen....

My dad is LEO up in Kern County where I'm from and crime has tripled up there and KCSO wants to shutdown the holding facility in our town meaning local PD will have to drive 2 hours to Bakersfield and 2 hours back for anyone they book....

I knew about the third row seats. Those alone on eBay used are 900 bucks. The glass alone from the mirrors is 700 bucks from GM. I found a guy on Craigslist who has a set of the tow mirrors for 400 bucks. I just wanted to let people know on here just incase they owned one or had a friend who did.
