... How is elsinore?
Water is high, real high. There's just a couple of very small beaches otherwise it's tall weeds for a "beach". I ain't going no where without a running boat.
-
did you get the parts for the boat? (the one that runs)

Yes.

Damn, I didn't even think of that. :screwy: BTW, I figured out that when I transferred my fuel supply from the main tank to the little red plastic tank that I never opened the vent on the little red fuel tank. So it was pretty much a useless test. :banghead:

there you go again ;D (thinking) :banghead:

unless they got 15+ feet of water, i dont think its high. I was there in January and it was still low as ever.

::) Run with that. :D
It's almost the highest that I've ever seen it, the highest was years ago. We saw 3 "beaches" (word used very loosely), not counting the jet ski beach area's (if any). Each "beach" was probably about ? 8' X 8' ?.

Sounds about right. But since it's been at ? 20% ? full for so long the "beaches" are a joke. Either way, have fun and let me know if you guy's are going (I might need a tow :banghead: ).

Too funny! LMFAO El Cap, right? :D

Although I have seen El Cap almost that high it is not that high right now. But for some reason the launch ramp is slippery as all hell. Looks the same, but whooooop go the truck tires. ???
-
Elsinore is fine. There is more beach than you could ever need. 2 ramps = no waiting. Both in good shape. Water is warm (ish) and algae free ;D C'mon down tomorrow

Water is warm (ish) and algae free ;D
Algae free ::) If that isn't algae I don't think I want to go back

Well OK point taken. Let's just say there are no floating "putting greens" this year. Most of these guys either sit in the boat or on shore all day anyway. They only get wet from the knees down. I'd be real curious to know what percentage of peeps on this site ever spend time on the big end of a ski rope.
-
Not in many years

Rolling stones gather no moss Chief ;) unless they are in Elsie in the summer ;D

For several years my parents pleaded with me to try water skiing because my sister loved it so much. I told them I didn't want to and that it looked boring. So finally one day, at San Antonio Lake, to shut them the hell up on the subject I went out there and on my second try got up and skied around for quite some time. I wasn't interested in it then and I'm still not interested in it. Something about following someone else all day drives me crazy. Different strokes for different folks.
So we were/are typing about going Sunday to El cap, right? I still will probably need a tow vehicle. :banghead:

El Cap, today, Sunday the 1st of June, ;D . Marc said he's going so he can put new bunk rails on his trailer. Sebastian might go, depends on his boat. Don is going and will be there around noon, he's bringing his wakeboard with his jet boat. I'm going, I'll be there around noon also, I will have the G/F and a unknown amount of kids with me, wakeboard and tube are going also (for the kids). I'll be there as long as the boat is running good, the engine could take an hour to go to crap, could take 4 hours, may have finaly fixed it ??? but I won't know until there's a load on the engine from the water. See ya' and have fun. :-*

Damn, looked at what happened to this thread after I jumped in. LOL. I should threaten to show up at Parker, again. ha ha ha
Went to the lake, got 45 minutes of great running outboard this time before it went to sh!t (again). Made progress of some sort, fuel pump isn't keeping up with demand. Figure it out more on a different day. Never saw Marc. Never saw Sebastian. Met up with Don and Thomas, got to drive Don's boat. It was a lot of funn being in the driver's seat of a jet boat again. Thomas' boat is running goooood (phukin Ford).
