I'm planning on being there by 630-7.. it'll be me in my tunnel and my brother in his kona. Got some uncles coming down from the desert. Gonna help me break cam/engine in. Makes it fires right up. I'm too trying find me a beach spot with some shade

It was fun tho. My rebuilt 800 double pumper ran way better Than my 650. Just gotta fine tune it. Think she's broken in too. Was get on in once in while. And then my uncle, "if it's gonna blown it's gonna blow right now" haha. He has happy foot. Lol. But it held up. So now need change oil and be all ready

I have never been there and I my live a hour and half away. I was always told that the water is nasty. My wife is from the bako area and she says they used to go there when she was a kid. How is the lake? Speed limit? Rangers going to bust my balls for boat being to loud?
I live in lancaster so it's about hour n half for me as well. Water is murky and warm. Speed limit I dunno know about never had a problem with the Rangers. I was out there on memorial weekend and the Rangers only came on the water once. did a couple of laps and they pulled off.
I my self have never had any problems about loud noise. I have no baffles in and never been messed with. So I would say all in all fun great place to camp and make noise.

Hmmm maybe I will drag the boat over there some weekend. The lakes around here that I go to I have sheriff's doing DB test at the ramp and tell me sorry it's to loud, which I don't think it is. I do have custom shorty drag headers with 3" primarys going into 6" collectors. I guess it might be a little loud...lol.

I can't post pics yet. My boat is getting painted and seats are getting upholstery. The new color scheme is hot pink, metalic gun metal grey metallic green teal and the bubble will be the gun metal grey with light grey vinyl seats with hot pink tubing. So I'm sure you won't miss it. But I will post pics of the whole build once the paint and seats are done. I have pics from bare hull to building the motor. The motor is a 505ci strocker BBC.

How's the water there? Never been thereIt's not a big lake but usually pretty quiet. It's over 100 percent full right now, they sand bagged the spill way for some extra water this year. Here is a vid I found on utube a few weeks back music sucks but a good look at the lake .

How is bv for jetboat? I have heard it’s rough from the wakeboard boats.It can be its a small lake....but if you go during the week it is usually quiet out there and same as early mornings on the weekend. Its real close to the house so i mainly just go for a hour or so and then come home. Sometimes we stay the day out there and intertube and bbq. Ive had a few waves come over the front from the wakeboard waves
