It's supposed to be 90* tomorrow. Is anyone else heading out to Elsinore? I'll be at Cranes.

We will be out there after the boys soccer games in the morning. The season is definitely NOT over :)

We will be out in the cove after our son's baseball game! Should be there around noonish... Gotta enjoy every last weekend of good weather we get :)

driving home (15 north) I see Elsinore everyday on the left before i get off at railroad canyon. our girl (elsinore) is so waiting to be torn up by roost. lets make some good friends and some video tomorrow afternoon - that lake is almost private this time of year! A+A+A+

Tomorrow and Sunday is the Elsinore Grand Prix. Expect huge traffic problems downtown. On the water will most likely have some good views though.

Trailer park over by the beginning of the Ortega Hwy on the "back side" of the lake. They have a very narrow ramp but a large beach area and store/restaurant.

They have a nice beach and the wind doesn't kick up as bad on that side of the lake.

Parents are camping there. They had to tease me about the jet boat they saw running while I'm at work. Glad to hear it was a good trip.

That sucks. Wonder how long the ramp is now that the water is low. Could have dropped the rear tires of the end?

I thought the ramp was directly in front of him where the two jet skis are.
Was thinking he may have gone off the back and drifted further out until the rear and trailer sank in.
Looks like the picture is taken from the beach at Cranes. I've never launched there, so I don't have a clue lol.

When the tow truck dragged him out it didn't look like the truck bumped up onto the ramp or anything. The way the story goes he was backing the skis in, looking back the whole time, and didn't realize how far into the water he was until it was too late. I ended up launching at La Laguna. It was funny watching all the residents line up in theirs golf carts to watch the debacle.
