How's lake elsinore on baffles and safety equipment. I live 4mi away but haven't gone there in almost 4years. Bottom line I have no baffles no safety equipment...issue?

I've never boated with baffles as long as you cruise by them not sayen you can't get a ticket there more worried about drunks now if you do get pulled over they will be checking for safety gear but not at the launch ramp

Yea I went Memorial Day weekend and counted 100 boats in the cove, a lot compared to the typical 30-40 weekends. I'll be on early and off early to try and avoid some of the crowds

As long as my fuel pump shows up by friday. we will make it. As far as noise resrtictions, I believe they do not exist at elsinore. I am sure they will have safety equip checks though but if theres something you need, it can be bought at the little general store towards the entrance, thats what I had to do!

I'll be heading out there on Sunday morning for a day of fun in the sun and tall frosties :beer:... Should be pulling into the west marina around 10:00am. Does anyone think I should get there earlier due to lots of people? If so, I will arrive earlier...just let me know.

It's going to be packed but I think 10 am will be fine. We were there for the last holiday weekend and it was crazy by noon. The cove start getting full around noon. The rest of the area has campers every where. Parked in the cove will be the safest spot on the Lake.

I'll plan on getting to Coors cove about 9:00am just to be safe and possibly not deal with crowding at the launch ramp or any ruff water yet. We'll set up a blue 10X10 canopy in the cove and relax. Hope to see many other nice hot rod boats show up and enjoy hanging out with cool peeps... 8).. :thumbup:.. :beer:

Have a Mallory pump in my garage. Works, you can have it bud. Save the money for the beer hehe.

Post pics of the cove today, gonna miss you guys out there today! I found my fuel pump last night that came in actually on Thursday. My young boys hid it over on the side of the house because they thought it was a suprise gift from there mother.

We were having a great time until Saturday afternoon the Armenians moved in next to, on top of, and all through our camp site!! Dogs everywhere...then came the techno music and the town drunk and his side kick that peddle their bicycles over to party at the camp site, bum booze, and hit on the married Armenian chicks....thank God for my squeezy plugs I had in my hunting vest under my back seat, other wise I would have got into a fight for sure! No more tent camping for this family...
Oh, and now I know why everyone pulls their boats and wipes them down...the algy was unreal on my boat this morning!!!

I was out there all day on Sunday, had a pretty good time and all, lot's of boats, counted 114 just in the cove about 2:00pm. But the green pea soup water just kind of burned me out on Elsinore, I'll stick to the river. Sunday afternoon I took a friend for a ride and the water was pretty choppy, so opening it up was out of the question. I'll be out on the north end of Parker Strip in two weeks...clean fresh water!.... :thumbup:

Wow, how weird that your engine temp would rise due to the water out there. It was really warm too, it had to have been well over 80 deg. water temp, it was also even lower than I remember being out there about eight months ago. I'm not sure if that lake will recover it's level anytime soon, and I doubt the condition of the water will ever improve. So for me it's just going to be going out to the river, I still wouldn't mind trying Pyramid Lake once, I never been there. Our last trip out to the Colorado River this year will most likely be Thanksgiving weekend if the weather is nice, last year it was beautiful.
