Title: Lake Elsinore Saturday
Post by: fmf1996 on April 04, 2014, 10:01:44 PM
Dropping in my backyard tomorrow...anyone up for some morning fun?

Drained, dried, and cleaned the bilge today...do they inspect all the boats like at Big Bear?

Been there many a times, twice this year already and have yet to actually be inspected.

There will be probably be a bunch of retards out there on Saturday. Most people that go here, go on Sunday.

I've never been checked for anything at Elsinore. They just make sure you bought a pass and that's it

Yeah exactly. I remember going out there on a cloudy day and going into the office to buy a pass and no one being in there... So we launched and drove around for an hour and went home

As long as you don't tell them it's your first time there they don't give a f**k. At least from my experience.

I've never been checked for anything there; pay and go.

We'll probably be testing the boat Saturday to make sure everything is good for the Parker trip.

Fun day on the lake, no smell, glass off stayed until maybe 1030'ish...maaaaybe a dozen boats on the water.

Met some cool people, found Coors Cove, ended up going to dinner with a cmayer & family + another group.  Talked about our next adventures....good times.

Oh yeah, sucked up my first rock...did a trailer / ramp fix....I will never fire up again unless I do the scientific oar/dip depth finder....then we found out you can't tow tubes at Elsinore....the kid was bummed.

I was surprised at how few boats there were yesterday. Had some issues at the start of the day and again at the very end, but overall a good time.

It was good meeting you and the family Chis. Your boat looked great. Glad that rock didn't ruin the day!

I might mess with the carb some more and head out today. I'd really like it to be running right for the Parker trip.
