You guys enjoy Elsinore? Or it's just the easiest?

I don't mind Elsinore. Its close. I would prefer the river but it cost a lot more to do that. Elsinore is fun though

I love Elsinore about 10.5 months a year. Only in the hottest part of summer does the water get a little "gamey" and they have spent tons of money making the water quality better. 2 ramps and one is about 8 lanes wide and not steep at all. The docks get a bit hammered from all the use, but they do try to keep them good enough not to damage a boat too bad. Great campgrounds are available for tents and 40 footers. Coors Cove has the best party scene west of the river and the bigger cove next to it nobody uses ifn you and your favorite lady wanna be left alone to "work on your tans" >:D
And no other lake in the state has a designated Speed Zone for your flat footin' pleasure.
I wouldn't advise drinking the water, but it ain't gonna stain your shorts like Perris or Muddingstone, and you don't have to show up at 5am like Silverwood, although later than 7am you will have missed the glass on a summer weekend if that is important to you. It has been my experience that it is always busier on Sunday than Saturdays. Don't believe the nonsense about dead fish, it is a very rare and NATURAL occurance. ralph and i were out there once on a busy weekend and there was a guy with zoomies cruising around...but i didnt see any cops out there either.
i think the enforcement presence is light or null after labor day weekend

Where they do enforce it, is at the north ramp. The old guy won't let you lauch :screwy:

Yeah, so most of you would rather roll out to Elsinore than like Castic or Pyramid?
And yeah Perris you have to fight with the fisherman, and I've never been to the water at Puddingstone only camped there. But I'm trying to find a local lake to roll to for the day or two...

Elsinore is cool. Perfect for testing and close enough for those days when you have the itch to get on the water but cant make it to the river.

Well whoever wants to roll were meeting at the north launch between 830 and 9 in the morning. It looks like I'm rolling solo so if anyone wants to be boat bitch your welcome to a seat :)

It gonna be hot tomorrow. The ramps are gonna be pretty busy by 10 but it will still be a real nice day out there. Thought I was gonna make it but now it ain't looking so good.

Do you have a picture of your boat? We were on the west side of the cove. We had my flatbottom and my brothers new eliminator. We drove in and out of the cove a few times.

I'm slightly annoyed because I'm pretty sure the throttle cable is shoot. But hey crap happens, just glad I was able to work with it all day.

Not me I wasn't there that weekend I like elsinore but the misses refuses to ski there so if she has the skiing itch than we head to silverwood as a local lake.

Anyone going on this weekend? Thinking about taking the lady and little lady out this weekend. It's my daughter birthday Saturday, so was thinking we could go out Sunday if it was nice. I've been watching the weather and it should be like 80*.
