Hit Lake Perris today for mild day on the water.  The water level is alarmingly low  :o  but we had great weather and not too many boats on the lake

The entire island is surrounded by "no wake zone"   The 35mph zone is everything west of the island.

They only have one launch ramp operating due to the low water level but getting on and off was smooth.

And finally, the best reason I found to go to Perris over Elsinore is I wasn't afraid to stand in the water  ;D

I would like to see a "SCJB day on the lake" at Perris sometime this season.      ;D

Out of the three local lakes I personally like Silverwood. The drive is not all that fun because of the winding road, but its more of a lake than the other two.  Have fun out on the water!

You DO NOT want to go to Perris in July, waaaay tooooo crowded because it is so small.   Lice everywhere
Getting into Silverwood in July will mean getting in line at about (if on a weekend) 4am, 5 will probably be to late to get in and you will have to wait for someone to leave.
I'm just sayin' . . . .

Can you guy's see/watch the skydivers jumping at Perris Valley Skydivers from the lake? I have friends that jump there, Ever have a chance to party/bullshit with skydivers from there I would if I was you, I'd bet you be surprised as what there doing above your heads and around you as in crazy stunts and partying shenanigans. Some are just plain crazy, but they are fun..    Roy

I have never seen them from Perris as they are too far away.   At Elsinore however they come down right overhead all day long.

I know people there also, I never jumped in Cal But I use to go to Eloy Arizona every Jan until my bud that I use to go there with died jumping off a bridge over the Snake River In Idaho

A lot of those jumpers jump there during the day and the B.A.S.E jump at night off anything high enough, Buildings, Cliffs, Antenna's/towers bridges. There fun exciting thrill seekers. Like most jet boaters.

I use to jump a very fast little hot canopy called a "Batwing"..  Roy
