Title: Puddingstone Lake
Post by: beerjet on March 26, 2010, 11:51:38 AM
Some of my last memories of hitting the lake where at Bonelli Park (Puddingstone) between the ages of 9-12.
After that I spent the rest of the time on friends boats and jetski's.
During the last 9 years or so that I have had my own boat, my dad has gone once with me.
If you guys knew my mother, you'd know the sun is her enemy.
She has a dark skin and has spent the better part of her life countering it.
Last week I spent some time testing mine and a freinds boat for the season and she said she wanted to go out one day so I picked Monday since my dad has Mondays off.
After some BSing and calling each others bluffs on the phone this Monday we headed west.
It was right around 20 years since we had been on the water together and she was hooked, agian.
The weather didnt hold out for us so it was a short trip but now everyone has an idea of what they want to takefor our next trip.
Anyways, I launch at the North side and cruised over to where the races are held and hung out for a couple hours and we didnt really do squat except watch my girls play a little and it was some of the best times we had.

NO -- clearly the best part was the "crew" and making some new memories for the kiddies to hold onto.   You haven't forgotten, they won't either
