Have a fresh motor want to put a little time on it. I'm in north orange county. Puddingstone/Frank g bonelli is about 30 minutes away. Elsinore is about an hour and a half.
Looking for pros cons recommendations for where to go.

Good morning,
Elsinore is my go to.
Pros:
Unlimited speed zone is open, Beach/Cove at that is always nice to hang out, Launch Point is a great ramp to launch at. It had two Boats on it last Sunday.
Cons:
You?ll be scrubbing the green line off of your float for about an hour. They don?t call it ?Smellsomemore? for nothing.
Haven?t been to Frank G since the old race days in the late 80s. 🤷🏽♂️
Hope this helps.

Puddingstone is a Great place with clean water. There are rules though. Some days are boat days and some days are PWC days. There are also safety requirements like lifejackets and fire sting wisher?s all things that should be on your boat anyways. Check out their website and make sure that you cover off on the safety requirements and that you go on a day that is OK for boating (and not PWC day) but otherwise it?s a great choice

A couple things about Puddingstone
1. 35 mph speed limit at all times.
2. It?s pretty small.
3. The last time I was there, about 10 years ago, they wouldn?t let me on because I didn?t have baffles in my headers.
