Pyramid lake "Heads up"

Have been going to Pyramid almost every weekend for the passed two months, today is the first time i saw a pontoon looking thing on the water the sheriffs had set up where they are breathalyzing anyone they suspect of drinking who is operating a boat or wake boarding/skiing. The sheriffs were all over the launch ramp in the morning with signs set up stating that they will be breathalyzing people. They said anyone NOT operating a boat or being towed is allowed to drink on and off the boat. But the driver or skier cannot have anything at all. Just a heads up for anyone who goes when the signs are not up or clearly visible.

I can't thank you enough for posting this. I had been having a GREAT time on Pyramid last year. No issues. Had been planning to do it again. I'm not taking the chance. Thank you very much.

No clue man, I would assume they would find a ticket to give you since they are stating you cannot be drinking if your gonna be towed or driving.

Koby686 when we going to meet up? I see you at the track all the time riding pass each other over the triples and all. Lol thank you for posting this man much appreciated! Ever thought of going to Buena Vista lake? Less idiots and what's a sheriff on that lake.

I will let you know next time i roll out and you'll have to come out! I heard of buena vista but have never been before I'm down to check it out. If the next time you see me is before we meet up at the lake then come introduce yourself brotha

Sounds good brotha. Buena Vista is cool cause you can camp and enjoy the weekend. Plus never have had any issues with the Rangers which is always a good time.

Is it a big lake? How much further then pyramid is it and do they have that muscle inspection there?

I'm in quartz hill. It's hour n half for me north off the 5 fwy. And no there is no inspection. Lake is not as big as pyramid but it's less idiots and always a fun time. If you have a camper it's even that much better. I like it never have any issues. Water is murky and warm but your at a lake with a cold beer in your hand right.

I don't think so man. Got some family from Mexico in town. But yea next time you guys plan on going let me know ahead of time cus I get every other weekend off.

Hey guys I think me and a buddy will be at pyramid this weekend sunday most likely. Need to do some tuning my buddy bringing a flatty not a jettie but it's a cool boat. If anyone wants to join us. I'm leaving lancaster bright and early to get some glass in the early am.
