Title: Pyramid Lake
Post by: eaglerider94 on July 24, 2010, 09:35:24 AM
What are the current water conditions at Pyramid, meaning is it still full of green algae?  I'd like to take my jet boat out there.
It's been a few years since I've been to this lake and when I was there the water was full of thick green algae which was not suitable for skiing/swimming.

Water is very clean as of a few weeks ago. The algae problem was from about 3-4 yrs ago. That has since been taken care of and the water is great. I should be out there in 2 weeks.  ;D

I remember it was pretty nasty and you could see the green algae from the freeway.

Now where is the fun in that...  While I agree that you shouldn't drive your boat drunk, I don't believe in sitting on the ramp and grabbing people when they get done.
