San Vicente had a new state record blue catfish caught on Thursday, July 24th, 113.4 lbs.
September 1st, Labor Day, will be San Vicente's last day open. Then it will be closed for 6 to 9 years for the Raise the Height of the Dam project.

That's funny , I see those guys out there almost everytime I have ever been there!! They don't even have a boat , they fish from the shore!

6 to 9 years... yeah right. It can't keep full at the level it's at now.
That fish makes you think of all those time the little bluegill were nipping at your toes.
That bastard can take me down in a gulp. So much for being a little mammal.. :o
