I havent been to Silverwood in quite some time. I do remember the wind coming up in the late afternoon tho, and was like a freaking ocean, couldve been the time of year tho. Not sure but I'm going to have to guess that they are doing the inspection dealio on all boats going in. Make sure your boat is DRY inside, everywhere! Just my .02

One of the best lakes I've ever been to , during the week.
It will kick up accordingly in the afternoon.

Ok so the lake is fairly small.  The inspection was a complete joke.  All they did was peek inside my bilge area and thats about it.  Only about 10 boats total the whole time I was there.  A breeze did kick up late in the afternoon but the water stayed fairly ok.  I will definately frequent this place.  Launch fee is only $9 and they have a very nice ramp.

I spent almost all my summers there as a kid .
I rememeber my pops waking me up at 2am to get in line and when we would get there, there would be 20-30 boats ahead of us  :screwy:
The ramp is one of the nicest I've seen.
Great lake and on the weekends it is a complete mad house  ;D
