I was there yesterday its low but the smell from the alge sucks.
-
Gonna check out perris next sun

Read the thread green drink. Yes Elsinore is low, and surprising Perris is cleaner. Just be heads up going to Perris your boat needs to be completely dry including ski locker, and under seats.

And nothing on the trailer or hul

Perris isn't super sketchy anymore? Last time I was there, we saw dirty diapers floating in the tide.
-
Perris feels really small at anything over 35 mph and smooth water is almost non-existent. If you look at a map three fourths of the lake is a 5 mph zone. Plus much of that area is only about 5 ft. deep.

What about lake matthews?

Haha funny high school story about that place....got busted hopping the fence, trying to go swimming. Made it about 3' from shore, before the sheriffs let us know it was time to go home.

I go to Perris often if you go early around 8 am there is hardly anyone there and do your testing and leave its fine and the water is plenty smooth at that time, also I have been to Elsinore and it is low the deepest I saw on my gauge was 7 feet across the high speed zone, the super green color and smell is enough to keep me away haha but it is nice not to worry about the speed limit

Depending where you live, castaic and pyramid are pretty casual. Castaic enforces baffels, and they both enforce the mussel rule so make sure your boat is dry. Even though the speed limit is 35mph at both if you are not being a dumbass and causing attention you could make all the fast passes you would like. Especially at pyramid, wave to the life guards and sherrifs and be on your way. Have been going there all summer with zero issues other than the baffles at castaic.

Pudding stone is good for tuning. Park Rangers get a bit uppity when you try to go over 35
