Is there a date nailed down for the TPM in Jan. 2015 yet?

Thanks Jake, weather permitting I will be there, looks like a good time. Plus I want to race the ADBA Blue Water event in Parker in Feb.

Okay, I'll stop by and visit ya at Blue Water.

Any one know what the plan is for Irvine lake not having any water? Is the event going to move?

The irvine company said No more side by side racing after last years deal. The may race is now at Bluewater. 

Yeah, the last time I was there was in Aug., and it was not looking good. There was over one hundred boats in the cove, but the water was really low, still had a pretty good time though. I'm just not real keen on the gross, green water. I'll make an acception for the TPM though.

Hopefully all the slow boats don't line up four wide and race stupid and create shore wakes and swamp are boats like the past few years. I kinda miss the first few times when it was smaller and less dumb shits

You're right, we all know all it takes is one moron to screw up a good thing for everyone, comon sence is key. If someone see's some idiot doing something really stupid, they need to gather up a bunch of others and have a talk with him. If that person wants to get mouthy, he would think twice if there are ten guys looking at him...LOL...   I've seen it for years if someone really does have a fast boat or car, they usually are the quiet ones, they don't need to prove anything, they carry the big stick.

It's kinda funny that the only lake in the whole southwest part of the U.S. with a dedicated Speed Zone and no one will use it.  On a January day it is just as likely to be as smooth as the cove.   Instead a bunch of knuckleheads will try to be Ricky Racer for a day while kinda forgetting the whole reason for being there.  Somebody is going to get hurt one of these years.

But if they go to the speed zone all the people in the cove won't be able to see them and they won't look cool duh.....and you won't be able to hear the wake boat racers radios all the way over there either.

Some of you have lost sight of what this event is about.

Be the bigger person, no passes in the no wake zone, period. Been seeing more of this happening even on summer weekends via fb and IG posts. I partially feel responsible for this because people see it in the videos and think "hey, if they did it, then I can too".

Just don't do it. You most likely will be ridiculed if you do. Don't be that guy.
