Been many years since I've been to Elsinore, and from what the wife saw on a map it looks like theres two coves. True or not?

The green grossed her out, and a bit of oil film. If it were just me, I would've stayed.
Maybe I'll do some testing there once I find and fix my oil leak.

not like it would make a difference to anyone not liking the green, but it is natural, not nasty. reservoirs are clear cause of treatment, elsinore is a natural occurring lake with run-off from Cleveland national forest and the san jacinto river. but, i get it, green is green

lake elsinore has a website that explains a lot of it and also shows monthly tests of bacteria levels and so forth... as far as your oil leak? :-)

Yeah. Have a minor oil leak that I haven't been able to pin point where it's coming from. May have to pull the motor and look closer.
I'll make it out again tho and hang out.

The mayor was out there years ago before they installed the circulating pumps with some other guy and someone asked him how clean the water was....
He tilted the beaker back and drank quite a bit and said, "the waters fine..."
Through us all for a loop!
The lake is shallow also which is another contributor to the algae.
