Why not pull the lower unit and throw a new impeller at it..

I've done this in the parking lot at Mohave and Mead before. (Alpha units)

O'rielies has 160* SBC thermostats on the shelf, too.

If its a Volvo or OMC, well IDK.

Thanks for all your support we pulled the thermostat on it it runs about 160 and got up to 180

Lower unit water pump impeller and housing time.

Mercs cooling system doesn't function correctly without a T-Stat. FYI

I will help him fix it now that we are home and have the right tools that was just a temp fix for the weekend going to replace some hoses and get another back up pump again thank you guys for your help going to have to get a tool box for the trk cause it SUCKS not having the right tools
