Title: Mantra exhaust question
Post by: sfedock on April 28, 2015, 03:12:06 AM: I'm working on a 1979 19' mantra boat. I have a sbc motor and now I'm looking for an exhaust. I love in Indiana and I have to go with through the transom exhaust. What's out their on a budget. What's out their? Thanks for your help.

There going to be cheaper then a set of water injected headers and definitely cheaper then a set of water jacketed headers. The trick is finding them for a small block seeing how most JetBoats run big blocks. I have a set of BBC logs with the snails that I would sell.
But on a budget that's going to be your best bet and easy to setup.

They can typically be had for under a couple hundred bucks used and support up to 350hp. Mercruiser and Volvo Penta made the best ones for a small block.
