My wallet cant handle any more "Broadening"!!

Boats are cool but snow skiing is way more fun than anything you can do behind a boat. Although I really want to try one of those air chair thingys.  Hell this is So Cal where they even have a race where you run the ski the course at Canyon Lake, surf at Huntington (I believe) and ski at Big Bear in the same weekend.  Some of you guys need to broaden your interests a bit. 

Omitting the surfing, I did that; when I first moved here me and my buddies water skied all day on Saturday then snow skiied all day on Sunday in the same weekend; just to do it.
I agree and disagree with GC; my favorite was always water skiing because I MUCH prefer warm weather to cold; nevertheless, snow skiing was more of a rush (the kind I did). Also did a lot of scuba diving (another rush), 1 skydive, etc, etc, etc.

I'm surprised no one asked about the stars...

Holy carp look at that, just a few days ago I had 3 stars.            

there was a glitch in the star settings that i fixed.

and yes, they go up in increments of your status.

Ahhh bastard. I was waiting for someone to say something... I'm bored at work and just browsing what everyone's got to say.

YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN CORNICE!!!!!!!!! two weeks ago, it was incredible. Had the typical wind blown drop off at the top. literally STRAIGHT drop for 15' from the top. Only option is to jump. SOO much fun, a lot of inexperienced skiers on it so it was difficult avoiding them and at the same time handling the 4' POWDER moguls. They were more like motocross berms. As for me, I'm not a great skier but going slow is not an option. Had some awesome instruction over the trip, and some great powder. Just wish I didn't have to spend so much time teaching the old lady, but hey first trip and shes bombing Canyon...

One of the funniest times of my life (now but scarey then) was January 1989 at Mammoth.  I go to the top of the mountain with 2 buddies who are going to ski Cornice. I am only there to snap a couple pics.  While standing on the edge, one of my buds isn't paying attention and falls over the 5-6 ft lip and cartwheels a long fkn ways down the hill.  Remarkably no injuries. Funny as hell later that day tho.
