First off, Welcome to SCJB. Congrats on the new boat and getting it on your own. You are already ahead in the game by reaching out for guidance and willing to learn. Good job.
Make sure you got all your required safety equipment: life jacket for everyone in the boat, throwable cushion, fire extinguisher (charged and in date), oar, orange flag...
If you go to the front page and search new to jetboats, there’s been a few threads with some pointers as well.
Remember: jet boats need thrust to steer.
Always keep your head on a swivel and watch out for people passing you or turning right in front of you. Especially in front of the Avi.
