Hey I'm Tom I'm 29 I live in Reno nevada but was born and raised in grass valley California, I own a 76 Nordic scandia it's a full stringer running a bb 460 ford, tho it runs badass I'm not a ford fan and looking to swap it out for eather a bbc or a 440 mopar but I hear those mopars are a fucker to get parts for, hope to meet some cool ppl.

Nice! Thank you, and here I thought Nordic scandia was a kinda rare boat lol but I also haven't been In the boat game long. I know Nordic is still up and running tho

The fords can be good engines. The Chevys are just easier to find parts for.

It's a good runner I just can't stand fords, but at the same time it runs good for now so maybe it will last until I build a bbc

I'm a ford fan but I bought my boat with a Chevy in it and just had it rebuilt. Can't wait to run it with the new build.

My 460 was rebuilt last year when I got the boat, 100% stock tho other then a holly 750. Could be why it runs so good haha, it will prob last forever, think my berk is a 12j a.. Would have to double check

Hardin marine has all the parts for Mopar as does Glenwood
