Is this the "Perfect Storm"... or the calm before the storm ???

 People are loosing there jobs, homes , stocks,
 
Whats  next.... Can anyone predict what will happen ???

its pretty tough out there and i have no insite, but im going to buy a damn house while the interest rates are good. hope im not forking up ???

As much as I hate to say it..... "They" say it's gonna get worse before it get's better... :mad:  :screwy:  :sly:! Oh but wait.....Obama's gonna come in and give us the "change" we need.... :o  ::)... I am in the automotive repair business and I tell ya what...I'm dyin' here...Jus' tryin to hang on and get thru "this storm" and hope I still have a job when it's all over...until then,I have really had to tighten' my belt and hold on for the ride!  :banghead:  :banghead:  >:D  :-\

I've been paying very close attention to this whole thing the past 3 months as I was trying to decide whether or not to relocate to Las Vegas, from what I've learned, hours of scouring the internet, too many financial shows, researching historically low points in the American economy, this is what I've come up with......

Yes, it is going to get worse before it gets better, how much worse is anybody's guess, but the immediate future looks fairly grim.  4-6 years before we recover from this mess is the best number I can put together, yeah that's a bit of a spread but I'm no economist so eat me. :)

Ralph, BUY a house now, anyone that CAN should be buying, I don't think the rates are going to get much lower. 


Hate to be doom and gloom, but that's the way I see it.

Right now is the ideal time to buy a house , if you have the down of course.

house prices are still going to come down, the down payment is really high right now because the lenders have their tits in a ringer. And I agree with ya Skip that its gonna be be 3 1/2 to 4 years before we get back to somewhat of normalcy. :mad:

Ya guy's gotta remember tho...there was a lotta people that "jumped" into re-fi's and or homes they thought they could afford when they did....and look what happened....Everybody...just be careful, for you and your family!  :) Right now,I only rent a condo...great place,great neighborhood...not the garage i'd like to have to work on the boat,but......I know I can afford it right now and I klnow it will get better...till then...I'm hangin' on!  8)  ;D

I agree with ya skee I know a few people that are underwater with their houses right now, the house prices are still coming down
