So I've been on the site for a while and have seen Harley on here for sale or trade... I have a HD soft tail custom deluxe that I acquired and have an idea of the value but wanted the input of those who have/had Harley's to get a more accurate ode... Here's the skinny of it... It's an '07 with 16k miles, custom candy apple red and metallic silver paint job that is flawless, custom one pice billet aluminum rims( brand unknown) 19" in the front and 18" ion the rear, new metzler tires, drag bars, new front caliper, chrome grips and levers, 99cc dual cam motor, new air filter(K&N style), thunder header pipes, power commander 5, stainless steel braided front brake lines.
Thing has lots of power and sounds great. It just doesn't fit in well with my sport bikes and the wife says I have to sell it.
KBB books it at $12k in excellent condition but as we all know no one is going to to pay the excellent condition price... It does have 2 things wrong with it. That is all isolated to the rear fender. The rear fender has been bent on the very bottom of it, looks like the fender hit a curb backing up, and there is a dent on the very top of the fender that I put in it as a dropped my phone on it the day I got it. This 2nd thing wrong with it is the rear hub had 3 of the 5 bolts that hold the belt pulley onto the rear rim were broke so I am waiting to buy a new hub( have to work a little extra overtime at work) it's $300. I found the bolts broken after I got it and took it out for a ride after the previous owner had left... How they didn't come out on the test ride is beyond me but glad I caught it in the garage and didn't cause a wreck... Anyway here's. Pic... Please give me input on parts etc that you see on the bike that I didn't mention...I don't know crap about Harley's
