anybody using/used one? is it worth the money?

I have one and I will never own another type of anchor as long as I have my boat, spend the money, get the anchor, the sand spike and the Danik hook, you'll be happier than a pig in mud.

I like mine! only I made it for about 20.00 bucks in material ;D

C) All of the above, with the line, I've got about $200 into my anchor setup, but it's hassle free every damn time

the fact that it folds up is worth the money alone. i had the generic triangle style one....it was a pain in the ass...picked up a used box anchor and it fits under the seat!

X2 on the box anchor. Just shave the pin sleeve a bit and you're ready to rock n roll. They will stand up to any current this side of Big River
