I put together my first 460. FYI, you want to put the timing chain cover on before you install the oil pan. Working with the 36 year old crap cast timing chain cover was a pain in the asss in general for me as well. Otherwise, real simple and easy to put together. Hopefully it runs and doesn't leak. :D

It's going up for sale after it's on a dolley and running and not leaking. I still need to wire up the alternator, install the carb, and clean up the headers and their braces.
I was surprised how well the pic turned out, it's the phone's lowest resolution.

That would look awesome in my boat....... it woud probably disintegrate the outdrive though
