Why does wanabe have -30 or so on his karma?

damn they got him pretty bad

he was abusing it and smiting anyone who even suggested they sided with jetlover or luke jivetalker.

He was also putting obscenities in the comments of the karma....so i bumped it up to 30 and removed his right to give anyone positive or negative karma. I will remove it at a later date, as well as all the other over the top karma wars that have been going on.

That being said, I try to take the whole karma system on this site pretty serious. If we dont, then why have it? I think its a great tool that shows who are the real key players on the site as well as the trouble makers.

I even have a smite from Rod....fair enough, i deserved it. I can remove it, but its not fair if i dont play by the rules too.

Also, I have been seeing "tag backs" a lot lately. If someone smites you with negative karma, that doesnt mean you have the right to smite them back. This isnt grade school, although it seems like it sometimes. I will be removing any of those I see from now on.

I've had two different rants typed out but it isn't worth it. It's Brad's world and I'm just a post and smilie whore in it. 

It's Brad's world that without us would not be. Brad's a good guy and he does his best to maintain a good attitude despite all the bullshit we have flying around here. The good and the bad, I guess it takes both. It would just be really nice if certain people would start with some constructive criticisms/possibly some real help, as opposed to Chicken Little "The Sky is Falling!" B.S.

I have told you this before.....its not my world...its everyone who is a part of this site's world. If it wasn't for everyone here, this site would be like....well, that other jet boat site.

I try my best to play a neutral role here...which isn't easy...I have to make sure everyone plays fair and gets along without letting any personal opinions into it. Rod, it seems you continue to think I have it out for you. Its not the case... I harp on everyone here equally, you just like to voice you're being victimized. Just as I have told you 'enough of the smilies' in a PM, I have told omar to change one of his animated gif's in his sig because I thought it wasn't appropriate. I have told 2sav to size downsize his signature because it was dominating threads....and have told several others other things as well...its not just you.

And to everyone.... as far as what jetlover and Luke have been doing.....yeah, they have busted peoples balls pretty hard here....some of you might have even deserved it.....god knows if have at times....oldrigger was busting my balls pretty hard....at first I got real pissed, but he was right, I did something pretty stupid and I needed to suck it up. Now, next time I will double/triple check my steering when I put it in....maybe some of you should apply the same to your actions on here....think before you post. I cant stress this enough. If you hang yourself out to be ridiculed, be ready for it. If you cant handle it, don't post it. This site isn't a therapy session for your problems at home either, so don't expect everyone to side with you and give you sympathy. There's  some pretty blunt people in this world and with the internet, it makes it very easy to be anonymous. Everyone has an opinion and has a right to give it, weather you agree their opinion or not....even if you so feel like it was harsh.

...and to touch on rods recent post, there are no hidden karma that you speak of......i have deleted a lot of comments, but the karma is still there. As I stated before, I will be going through the karma and removing any invalid karma, that includes you. So if anyone doesnt agree with the karma that has been given them (positive or negative) you can PM me and we will discuss it.

I think I have rambled enough for now. I hope to see everyone at Parker at the next race in a little over a week. I hate this BS that's been going on lately....its time for everyone just to get together and have a good time. The parker gathering is also coming up in 2-3 months....so get your boats done and in the water. I don't want to hear ANY excuses why anyone cant make this....you had like 6-7 months to plan for it. I expect to see everyone there having a great time. This site brought us all together, and I have met many great people here. I love this site.

I have photobucket already, but since I'm internet/computer stupid I couldn't understand what Brad was telling me (I guess  ). Either way he spelled it out real nice and real slow just for me.    Looks like if I'm going to use these new-to-me smilies I've got a lot of photobucket hours ahead.

The photoshop thing is just from sitting in front of it for hours and hours. I still have a lot to learn about photoshop and I am just scratching it's surface. I'd like to figure out "layers" and how to stretch/shrink things (make a fat guy skinny etc...) instead of re-drawing it all over. But, THANKS!
