I was thinking the same thing.
So now you're going to buy an outboard, cut out the well and re-glass the rear of the deck to make it into an inboard hull (assuming it has a well and not a bracket hanging off it) either way, you'd have to fill in the holes in the transom, match the gel, re-shoot it and rig it for an I/O. Right now is the best time to buy a used boat, any boat, in the last 25 years. The choices are overwhelming, anything you want is out there. Why don't you find something you can drop in the water and go?

I have the drilling jig and alignment tool for that conversion by the way if you choose to go that route. Why you'd go that way, I don't know.  ;D
