A sandbar type anchor that I made. Originally it was just the re-bar and the rect. handle, in current, over time, maybe a half hour to an hour, the anchor would eventually "fall over" and away the boat would go. That problem has been fixed by the bent triangles. The rope gets tied below the handle, push the thing into the sand with your hand, and then step on the handle with your foot below the sand so you don't get a lawsuit. What do you think? ??? ;D

I do have the materials and tools... ??? Anyone else interested? ??? I will trade for colored and flavored water though (Coors Light). ;D I bought extra material thinking I could sell them for about $10 each, but then some friends of mine burst my bubble saying that I could go to a boat shop and buy one exactly like mine without the triangles welded on for $8... uhmmm... O Kaaayyyyy..... ??? So now I'm sitting on about 24 feet of rebar cut in 4 foot lengths with my thumb up... never mind... ;D
Yes, I'm making more. How many you want?

Depends on where you're at I would guess. At the AVI the sand was a lot harder and more dense than at Martinez. I haven't used it yet at Martinez with the triangles welded on. At the AVI you could easily push it into the sand about 3 inches past the first triangle. At Martinez I am expecting to be able to push it all into the sand. :D
