Just kind of curious what products you guys use to wipe down your boats after pulling them out of the lake/river.

I use lucas slick mist. Works great and smells awesome!. 

this dude outlaw on RDP gave me his secret mixture.  if its good enough for his boat (a fully custom polished 21 daytona) its good enough for mine.  it smells EXACTLY like the hot sauce stuff that sells for bookoo bucks and its made with easily found products. 

i was using car care products but the harbors and lakes have a layer of oily film/goo that normal car care products cant really cut through so i end up just smearing it around. 

50/50 white vinegar and windex

Vinegar will surely remove wax if the Windex doesn't.  I wax my boat often, not sure why though as it never prevented water spots in AZ waters.

Quick wipe down at the ramp with a wet towel followed by a dry. The same day or day after I do I full detail. I've always used mothers and black magic, I have recently been turned onto Adam's. And needless to say, I'm pretty happy with what I've seen. Plus they seem to be everywhere.

White vinegar for most ( rear, sides, engine) and quick detailer for the rest with a water based vinyl sealer on interior. I wax before every trip.

What kind of wax do you use? Spray type or the real stuff?

Damn you guys are better boat owners than me .  I just pull it out and wipe it down. I know guys that use white vinegar but for removing hard to remove spots not necessarily for cleaning. I use Meguiar's marine products, I think it works great. After spending a week it the water I 'm able to wipe the dirt and grime line off the boat without products and seeing that there's usually a long drive home why bother, just wash when it get's home. Not to toot my own horn but I still get complements on the way home. I know by experience it's not safe to have the hull super slippery  .

hah on my maiden voyage i went to walk down the deck to pull it on the trailer and i slipped and fell into my bow rail.  now i know why those schiadas do the non skid on the deck... its a death trap.

OUCH!! Yep I feel your pain and I didn't even have any bow rail.

Apparently that secret mixture isn't safe.

im trying to find the pm, i mustve cleared it out.  it was a mixture of vinegar, suave coconut hair conditioner, turtle wax ICE, and distilled water.  make sure you shake it up before spraying.  the vinegar helps remove the water spots, and the turtle wax and conditioner (coconut has a natural UV protectant) deal with the shine.  carnuba DOESNT stand up to marine environments, hence why even boat bling/hot sauce says they dont include it in their products at all.  synthetic/polymer wax is the way to go.  carnuba has a deeper shine to it but its melting point is pretty low.  ive switched to synethic waxes on all my cars now and it does last a LOT longer.  the wife works at seal beach and her infiniti gets blasted by sand/wind all day long.

I did the same thing, but I went off the boat and onto the ramp... Yep, no bow rail. After that I'm super safe and tell everyone else not to walk on the deck. I've thought about spraying some non-skid stuff, but never have.

i removed my bow rail and in the process of sanding off the nonskid so I can paint it I guess it's time to wear some nonskid shoes or stay off the bow
