Geezus ..I'm having a ruff new year, the ol lady dumped me as her new years resolution(lol) jan.1 I'm not even going to go into my finances other than to say out building is for sale, and we've been in business since 1969. I'm not sure my attitude can get any worse. If my personal life gets any more interesting, I'm calling Jerry Springer. Son of a   Sorry...Brad get ready for the pm to delete this thread for me :banghead:

hey we all gotta vent, and i am really good at doing that....things will get better...if the old lady is gone she is gone....it sucks right now, but it will turn out to be the best...im sorry to hear about all this, but it may be a blessing is disguise....as hard as it is try to avoid the drinking binge man that made things harder lemme tell you from experience....the best thing i could do when these type of situations arise is find things to do my friend...wax the boat...clean ALOT...even if something doesnt need to be done do it...keeping your mind off of things seem to make it easier least this is me....again sorry to hear about everything...sometimes situations are just out of your hands

Thanks man...posting that was against my better judgment. Sorry guys... Having said that feel free to vent here. I still have my boat so I'm all good. ;D

Been through similar stuff too bud! Keep your chin up, it'll all work out! I'm considering a lot of drastic changes as well over frustration, you're not alone.
As far as posting? That's what it's there for. ;D

the best advise i can give is find the positive out of the situation, and keep reminding yourself about it.
when you talk to family and friends about the situation....speak strongly of the positive of the situation, and lightly of the negative.
dwelling on the negative will only bring out the negative more and more.
so in short....stay positive ;)

positive bettys cost more then some of these bad ass boats hang in there

I'll one up on the Jerry Springer sitch, in 2006 I got a call from my wife's gay ex-husband that my wife was cheating on me with a dude she met in a religeous chat room. But like Nordie said, it all works out for the better. I divorced her, met my new wife (the one who told me my motor needs more cam and horsepower lol) and I'm happier than ever in that aspect. I hear ya on the financial thing. I work for the State of Comifornia and Arnie jacked my pay for 15% (which was more than my boat budget) and the overtime dried up. But I can see that it will get better. It may take a few but it will get there. Hang in there Bro, and remember to take it easy....and if it's easy, take it twice!!!

hey bro trust me itll get better. I broke up with my lady bout the 15th of december, and even tho I can't remember anything between then and the 30th (got bashed on head at work) I knew it was the right decision. I took time to do alot of the shit I have been meaning to do. I organized my roll away in the garage, cleaned the hell out of my garage, did a bunch of work on the boat, took the headers off to get em fixed and ceramic coated because of the extra $ i have by being single, but overall its good right now. I know its tempting to try and make things how they were before with the lady and what not but its just habbit and you were comfortable with it and thats all u knew, so its hard to break it but trust, once you start doing the things that you used to not be able to do because of her ull really start to enjoy life again and wonder why you even got upset in the first place. Lol sorry for rambling, but I know how it is. Good luck bro, and trust, shit will turn around.
